Embarking on Challenges in High School:
Back in high school as a senior, I dove headfirst into all sorts of challenges and even kicked off my own business with Mary Kay Cosmetics – talk about a wild ride! Little did I know that this early entrepreneurial spirit was a steppingstone toward my future career as a business advisor, bookkeeper, and an owner.
Degrees from the “Hard Knocks of Life University”:
Fast forward to 1995, and I found myself saying “I do” to my incredible husband. Together, we’ve tackled various businesses, earning ourselves degrees from the “Hard Knocks of Life University.” These life experiences have been invaluable in shaping my approach as an advisor and bookkeeper, helping me understand the ins and outs of business ownership.
Embracing the Outdoors and Quirky Obsessions:
Outside the hustle and bustle, you’ll find me soaking up the great outdoors. I’m all about hiking, walking, gardening, and catching up on a good read in my trusty hammock. Here’s the thing that some might find a bit quirky – My obsession with personal development. This goes hand in hand with my professional growth of always seeking to learn more and provide the best advice to my clients.
Philosophy of Being 100% Inside and Out:
I have this philosophy about being 100% on the inside. You know, that whole wheel of life thing – mental, physical, spiritual, family, relationship, financial, business, and lifestyle. It’s this holistic view that I bring into my advising and bookkeeping practice, aiming to share this with my clients while helping them to achieve a strong balance in their business and personal finances.
